I Stand to Fight Malaria goal, is to aim for a world of extreme possibilities. A world with a common goal of making Africa a zero extreme poverty continent by 2030. A world where children are able to attend school and parents are able to concentrate at work with no fear on their children getting infected with diseases. With kids going to school and parents staying at work, they are less likely to stay poor.
Malaria control preserves both lives and livelihoods. Its keeps parents at work, children and teachers at school, and helps create the economic and social conditions that eliminate extreme poverty and inequality.
As I Stand to Fight Malaria we believe, in serving the best interest of women and children. Our number one priority is the survival for women and children. No child is supposed to die at birth or no Mum or Infant is to die as a result of being malaria victim. Health is a basic human right and all women and children should have access to health care and live in conditions free from spread of diseases such as Malaria.
